Kaon Ta aims to incorporate Japanese and Filipino cuisine in the best way possible while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, ethics, and sincerity. We also hope to expand our market reach and provide our clients with a memorable dining experience.
Vision
Kaon Ta’s vision is to be a mission-driven corporation that seeks to be the leading environmentally-friendly food company internationally, and one that takes sustainability to provide affordable food to students, as well as mix Filipino and Japanese cuisines, promoting both cultures in an budget-friendly manner. Our business also aims to modernize Filipino and Japanese cuisine, offering unique experiences by providing quality goods.
Business Description
The primary aim of the “Kaon Ta Corporation” is to produce affordable and eco-friendly products that fit in with the budget of our target demographics, students. Our name “Kaon Ta” is derived from the Bisaya phrase ‘kaon ta’ which means “Kain tayo.” We chose this phrase as our company name because it shows solidarity among its members, equality among all. The legal structure that “Kaon Ta Corporation” has is a corporation. As a corporation, there are shareholders that protect its owners from liability for corporate debts and obligations. In addition to this, there is a reliable body of legal precedent to guide the owners and managers of Kaon Ta. The owners are able to raise capital through the sale of securities. The reason for the mission of the Kaon Ta Corporation is for the promotion of Filipino culture internationally while expanding market reach and maintaining food quality. In relation to the mission, the vision aims to preserve the environment and provide quality Filipino products. The company started with ten (10) classmates with an aspiration of creating a business that aims to be of help to fellow students with similar aspirations. The company started with the purpose of modernizing Filipino dishes and promoting the culture. The location of the business is at 1330 Perdigon Street, Paco, Manila. This is the location because it fits with the target demographic, being close to schools making it so that we are able to easily cater to students. The location is not overcrowded and clean, valuing the customer’s health. The logo of Kaon Ta corporation is a representation of Filipino and Japanese culture. It shows how these two cultures can be combined to create palatable products, suited for its customers. its roots.

How Kaon-Ta Started?
Kaon-Ta occurred from the group members' curiosity and boredom to try something new with their own-made Onigiri. The owners eventually began brainstorming and conceptualizing, and the rest was the result of the processes they had to go through. They currently have one branch in Paco, Manila, and hope to expand in the coming years.
